You guys! I’m so excited to share this with you! Over the past few months, I’ve had the pleasure of being filmed (a lot) by the incredible producer Monica Rogozinski and her crack team for the AMAZING WHYY show Friday Arts.
I’ve been a huge fan of Friday Arts since my friend, the inimitable Madame Fromage, was featured early last year so I danced a little disco when I was asked to be the subject of a segment on fermentation.
These people really know their stuff, and I really dig how it turned out. Friday Arts is an Emmy and James Beard Award-Winning program, and after working with this diligent and seriously pro-league team, it’s easy to see why.
I hope you watch. I hope you enjoy and I hope you’ll share your fermenty thoughts with me! Make sure watch through to the end. I share a little tidbit about my kombucha pet peeve!

This is the best!!! Good for you, it was a great segment. I really liked stepping into your world for just a moment. I feel like I need to go ferment something now (inspiring!).

Thank you so much for your grew attitude and enthusiastic way of teaching and informing the general public about the benefits and tasty goodness of fermentation. The segment in WHYY was done very well. I hope to attend a class at some point and buy your book.
Thank you for what you are doing!

I’ve been making my own sauerkraut for years and it wasn’t until I stumbled upon your website awhile ago that I realized how many other things can be fermented. I started with green beans, then carrots, beets, radishes, you name it and I’ve tried to ferment it. The ladies at work that I eat lunch with just love doing ‘shots’ of fermented beet juice. Thank you so much for sharing the video, it was very well done. And your website is fantastic!
